Chris Jorie has worked for over fifty years in theatre, television and film.  He has collaborated with distinguished artists including Thomas Kail, Tony Award Winning Director of HAMILTON; Academy Award and Emmy Nominated Actress, Mary McDonnell - DANCES WITH WOLVES, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA and Christine Lahti, Academy Award winner for LIEBERMAN IN LOVE.  Chris has also worked with Robert Downey Jr., Ryan Gosling, Keri Russell, Laurie Metcalf, Judi Dench, Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Tommy Lee Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Stanley Tucci, George C Scott , Judith Ivey - and Ephie Aardema from this Season's Broadway production of OUR TOWN and FUNNY GIRL. He is a director, writer, producer and actor as well as a performing and media arts consultant and specialist.  He portrays Czar Nicholas the 1st in the upcoming historical drama feature, DEATH COMES TO PUSHKIN. Chris was recently Assistant Director for award winning writer/director, Emily Mann, on her new play, CODE RED, presently in development in NYC. Chris is also set to direct THE BOOKWRITER, a romantic comedy feature film - and a producer and writer for his original feature films, HEAVEN ABOVE EARTH BELOW and BATTER THE HEART. He is also Executive Producer for the feature, THE GODS WE CAME TO BE, with writer/director Ian Stout, based on sound artist Tryshe Dhevney's biography, Soundshifting.
